Safety Guide

Swap safely
Tips for a smooth swap
Tswap connects people to swap items. Follow these tips to take care of yourself and the other person.
Coordinate in public places
Always meet in busy places: cafés, crowded squares, train stations or shopping centers. Avoid private homes.
Inspect the item carefully
Inspect the item before closing the swap. Test that it works, check its condition and confirm it matches the listing.
Communicate inside the app
We recommend coordinating everything from Tswap chat. That way there's a record of the agreement if you need to report something.
Don't send money in advance
Tswap is for swapping items, not selling. Never transfer money before seeing and inspecting the product in person.
Report what's not right
If you see a suspicious item or inappropriate behavior, use the report button. Each report is reviewed and helps keep the community healthy.
Block uncomfortable users
If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block them from their profile or the chat. You won't see their items and they won't see yours.
Items not allowed
It is forbidden to post:
  • Weapons, ammunition or explosives.
  • Drugs, alcohol or controlled substances.
  • Live animals.
  • Stolen, counterfeit items or items without proper documentation.
  • Sexual, violent or hate content.
  • Medications, supplements or regulated health products.
  • Personal documents, cards or accounts.
  • Sexual services or any illegal activity.
Listings that break these rules may be removed and the account suspended.
