Terms & Conditions

Tswap is a digital platform that connects people interested in swapping items. We don't buy, sell, store, transport or inspect the items posted, and we don't participate in the coordination, meetup or delivery between users. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

To use Tswap you must be at least 13 (16 in the EU) and have legal capacity to bind yourself. One person, one account. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity from your account.

Tswap acts as a technology intermediary that facilitates contact between users. We are not a party to the swap, we don't validate user identity beyond registration, and we don't guarantee the existence, authenticity, quality, condition, legality or value of the posted items.

Each user is solely responsible for:

• Verifying the item and its condition before accepting the swap.
• Freely agreeing the swap conditions with the other person.
• Coordinating the place, date and form of delivery.
• Complying with the tax obligations arising from the swap in their jurisdiction.
• Directly resolving any disagreement, claim or dispute that arises between the parties.

It is forbidden to post or swap:

• Weapons, ammunition and explosives.
• Drugs, controlled substances, alcohol and tobacco.
• Medications and medical products requiring prescription.
• Stolen, counterfeit or unauthorized replicas.
• Live animals or products derived from protected species.
• Sexual, pornographic content or content involving minors.
• Personal documents, cards, accounts or credentials.
• Any other item whose possession or exchange is illegal in your jurisdiction.

We also prohibit harassment, hate speech, scams and using Tswap to sell, rent or advertise outside the swap scheme.

We recommend always coordinating in public, busy places, going accompanied if possible, inspecting the item in person before closing the swap, and never sending money in advance or making payments outside the app.

The Tswap Pro subscription unlocks additional features (unlimited listings, super-likes, more visibility). It is charged via our payment provider and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Subscription section; access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid period and unused days are not refunded, except where applicable law requires it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tswap is not responsible for: scams, fraud, damaged, stolen or counterfeit items, material or financial losses, breaches, no-shows, personal disputes, safety issues, injuries, payments made outside the app, or any other issue that occurs before, during or after the swap. Any claim must be resolved directly between the users involved.

We may suspend or close your account — without prior notice — if you breach these Terms, post prohibited content, receive verified reports from other users or use the app in a way that may harm the community. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

The Tswap brand, logo, design and code are owned by Tswap. You retain rights over the photos and descriptions you upload, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display them within the service while your account exists.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any controversy that cannot be amicably resolved will be submitted to the ordinary courts with jurisdiction in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, without prejudice to consumer rights granted by applicable law in your place of residence.

We may update these Terms for legal, technical or service reasons. If changes are relevant, we'll notify you by email or in the app with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the updated version.
